Private company formation · Berlin-Charlottenburg
We provide the legally serviceable Charlottenburg address and support your company formation — connecting you with a notary and banking partners. Address, company and business account become possible from a single point of contact. With Diamond, we handle everything we legally can on your behalf.
We navigate the German bureaucracy — notary, commercial register and trade office — so founders abroad can incorporate without the friction.
01 — Who this is for
You are based outside Germany and need a GmbH or UG — for a product, a holding, or a professional European presence. The process is opaque, the paperwork is in German, and the address comes first.
We provide the registered Berlin address and coordinate the formation end to end. Banking and tax remain yours to arrange; we point you to the right partners.
Read the process →Everything in one service
Every plan includes the same registered address, mail, phone and post-formation services. The difference is how much of the formation we handle for you. Banking and tax remain your own arrangements — we are an address and formation-coordination service, not a law firm, bank or tax advisor.
Two ways to work with us
Both plans share the same €200/month service — registered address, mail, scan, Berlin 030 number and call answering. They differ only in how much of the formation we take off your hands.
Scope note: we coordinate notary, register and trade-office processes and, under Diamond, represent you by power of attorney where the law allows. Some acts remain yours by law — e.g. a director's commercial-register signature must be notarially certified (§ 12 HGB), which you can arrange at a German consulate or a notary abroad. We do not provide legal or tax advice (RDG); bespoke articles and structuring are handled by a notary or advisor.
Honest expectations
We keep our scope clear so every promise is one we can actually keep. Banking and notary requirements depend on your nationality — here is the honest picture.
The process
Reserve your registered Berlin address and choose your plan. You receive a document that leads you through everything you need to know — entity choice, timeline and the steps ahead.
ID verification via video (legally required under the GwG). We collect what the notary needs.
We coordinate the notary appointment. Can be done remotely via EU eID or notarised power of attorney.
Your Berlin address is live within 24 h of KYC completion — ready for HR, Impressum, and clients.
Mail, scan, and Berlin phone number active. You're registered and operational. Bank and tax are your next steps — see what to expect ↑
We collect passport copies, shareholder list, company name candidates. Draft articles of association (Musterprotokoll) for your review.
Share capital deposited, notarised deed signed, and the register application submitted via the notary to Amtsgericht Charlottenburg.
HR number issued and the company officially incorporated — processing time depends on the register court's current workload. Address updated from i.G. to full registration.
Address active without i.G. designation. Mail, scan, and phone service running. For bank and tax setup, we provide contact recommendations on request.
Timelines are indicative. Actual duration depends on the register court's workload, the completeness of your documents, and — for non-EU founders — apostille and power-of-attorney logistics.
02 — Why the address matters
A Charlottenburg business address that is commercial-register and Impressum eligible — no c/o, fully deliverable. Mail intake and same-day scans, a Berlin 030 number with bilingual call answering, and a business-address confirmation for the register, tax office and your bank.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (interest in stable, secure operation). Data is transferred to the USA; this is safeguarded by appropriate guarantees (EU Standard Contractual Clauses and, where certified, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework). A data-processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Netlify.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or (f) (handling of enquiries). Technical delivery is handled by the service provider Formspree, Inc. When you engage us, we collect the data required to initiate and perform the contract and to comply with legal obligations. This includes in particular the selected plan, customer type, name, date and place of birth, nationality, address, contact details and, for companies, company and register data as well as information on beneficial owners. The legal bases are Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract) and (c) GDPR in conjunction with the Money Laundering Act (GwG).
As an obligated party under the GwG, we are legally required to verify your identity before the contract begins (§§ 10 ff. GwG). For this we use the specialised provider Regpit, which carries out the identification (e.g. by video-ident or eID) on our behalf. ID and identification data are processed. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR in conjunction with the GwG.
In the course of mail acceptance, the scan service and any mail forwarding, we process the items addressed to you and their contents solely to perform the contract and within the mail authorisation you have granted. We use no tracking or marketing cookies and no analytics services.
Data is shared only where necessary to perform the contract, comply with legal obligations, or on the basis of legitimate interests (incl. hosting provider, KYC provider, form provider, notary, authorities where legally required). Last updated: August 2026 · Service and contract overview for the VIP offering. The complete, individually agreed contract terms are provided in text form before conclusion of the contract. German law applies; the German version is legally binding.
(1) These terms apply to the VIP service package offered via vipcityaddress.com by Deutsche Skylark Corporates UG (haftungsbeschränkt) ("BCA"), Suarezstraße 3, 14057 Berlin. The VIP offering is separate from the standard terms at berlincityaddress.de and has its own contract terms.
(2) The complete contract terms applicable to the individual case are provided to the customer in text form before the contract is concluded.
(1) The subject matter is the provision, for a fee, of a legally serviceable business address in Berlin-Charlottenburg — valid for the commercial register and website imprints — together with mail acceptance, scan service, a Berlin 030 phone number and call answering, as well as — depending on the plan chosen — coordination of the GmbH/UG formation (notary, commercial register, trade registration).
(2) Gold: provision of guides and partner introductions; the customer performs the formation acts themselves. Diamond: BCA coordinates the formation and, where legally permissible, represents the customer on the basis of a notarised power of attorney.
(3) BCA provides no legal or tax advice (RDG) and gives no guarantee of the opening of a bank account or of decisions by notaries, register courts or authorities. Acts reserved to the customer by law (e.g. the notarially certified signature of the managing director under § 12 HGB) remain with the customer.
(1) The monthly base fee is €200 plus statutory VAT. The one-time setup fee is €1,000 (Gold) or €5,000 (Diamond), each plus VAT.
(2) The minimum term is twelve months; thereafter the address service can be cancelled monthly with four weeks' notice to the end of the month. Mail-forwarding add-on: €2.90 per item plus actual postage.
(1) Address activation and the start of services require successful identity verification under the Money Laundering Act (§§ 10 ff. GwG). This check is carried out by an independent external provider commissioned for this purpose. The assessment follows applicable statutory requirements and the provider's checks; BCA does not decide on and is not responsible for the outcome of the verification.
(2) If the identity verification is negative or cannot be completed for reasons within the customer's sphere, the engagement is declined and no services are rendered. In that case BCA retains a processing fee of €50 (incl. VAT) to cover the expense incurred; any amounts paid beyond this are refunded.
The customer provides the documents and declarations required for formation and register filing, in particular — where applicable — a notarised formation power of attorney and the notarially certified signature of the managing director.
BCA is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. For slightly negligent breach of essential contractual obligations, liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract. Otherwise, liability for slight negligence is excluded. Claims under the GDPR remain unaffected.
Details of data processing are set out in the Privacy Policy.
This right of withdrawal applies only to consumers within the meaning of § 13 BGB — a natural person concluding the contract for purposes predominantly outside their trade, business or profession. It does not apply to entrepreneurs (§ 14 BGB), who have no statutory right of withdrawal.
Withdrawal instructions. You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the contract is concluded. To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us — Deutsche Skylark Corporates UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Suarezstraße 3, 14057 Berlin, Germany, info@berlincityaddress.de — of your decision to withdraw by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient to send your communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Consequences of withdrawal. If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed of your withdrawal, using the same means of payment you used for the original transaction unless expressly agreed otherwise; in no event will you be charged any fees for this reimbursement.
Services begun during the withdrawal period. If you requested that the services begin during the withdrawal period, you shall pay us a reasonable amount corresponding to the proportion of services already provided up to the point at which you inform us of the withdrawal, compared with the total scope of services provided for in the contract. Where the identity verification (KYC, § 4) has already begun at your express request, the €50 processing fee under § 4 (2) may be retained accordingly.
Model withdrawal form — complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract:
